K.I.S.S – Keep it simple and sustainable! Life is busier than ever; we can find it confusing and complex to associate getting in shape and staying healthy with better eating. The health and fitness industry has made it this way, with numerous diets all vying to be the next big thing and monetise their products.
When we think about eating cleanly/healthily, it’s either very bland and boring or overly complicated and time-consuming at the other extreme. You might feel the need to be a master chef just to feed yourself or your family. While these approaches may work, in my experience, they’re not sustainable for the long term. There needs to be a balance between obtaining the necessary nutrition to stay healthy and making it tasty, easy, fast, family-friendly, and budget-friendly for weekly shopping.
